The Life Changing Loss!

Image
On Oct 6 th 2024 we lost you, its been over a month. Still not been able to deal with the shock of your death and the gaping hole you had left us with. No words to say! Just shock and regret!! I wish I was there during your last moments. I cant imagine how the last few minutes would have been. So many of us are there for you but none of us were there with you at that moment. Your death shocked and shook not only us but all relatives, neighbours and friends. The scenarios of what if only and how it could have happened is something all of us are still reeling in. Appa, I miss the early morning coffee conversations with you from business to politics. You had been my pillar of support right from day 1. When I wanted to start my own consulting firm, I first asked only you “Appa, I want to explore my full potential, shall I start my own consulting firm. You immediately said Yes, go ahead. I will support you in whatever way I can.” I miss your childlike enthusiasm when we discuss...

He used Advanced Computerized Diagnostics Bioplasm Therapy (META-Therapy) - a frontier technology based on quantum physics.   Bio-Resonance comes from the word resonator to be in tune, in synchronization, in balance.       “Hello inner child, I am the inner babysitter – Terry Pratchett” The hidden part of our personality that is playful, spontaneous & creative – childlike and depending on the circumstances are accompanied by anger, hurt, fear. Yes that’s your inner child!! Experts describe this inner child as an expression of not just your child self, but your lived experience of all life stages . The inner child is also a source of your strength, since early experiences can play a significant part in your development as an adult. Is it possible to lose your inner child? YES OF COURSE!! Past experiences, especially traumatic ones, can lead to emotional wounds that disconnect you from your inner child. You lose your inner child at the point when you think that you do not need it anymore . You lose it when you succumb to the pressures of society, when you get a little too conscious, and when you think that others might begin to laugh at you. Not everyone may fe...

What is Reflection & How to Reflect? - Musings on Life Series 15

Image
What is Reflection?  Reflection is a multi-faceted introspective, iterative & vertical thought process that transforms your self knowledge on what you think and how you think. Reflection is the key to deeper learning, deeper understanding and self-discovery. Reflecting on experiences and uncovering meaning is an important aspect of learning. Reflecting is a learning that helps us retain every aspect of any experience be it personal or professional. You think deep on why something took place, what the impact was, whether it should happen again instead of just remembering that something happened. It helps to tap into every facet of the experience, clarifying our thinking and honing in on what really matters to us and give you great insights about yourself and others around you. What to Reflect?                                ...

Tribute to My Chithappa – Dr. S. Kalyanaraman (Mahesh chithappa)

He was visiting member of faculty at the National Defence College, Army War College, Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service, and Bhutan’s Royal Institute for Governance and Strategic Studies.  While doing his PhD he was selected for the Nehru Centenary Fellowship with Kings College, London.  He headed the editorial board for his institute for many years & various boards outside the institute. Why MNCs prefer to Automate Performance Management Systems?

Organizations don’t want to know yesterday’s performance trends of employees, they need to know how to make them perform better today and how best we can develop for tomorrow. None of us look forward to the mundane ritual of annual performance appraisals, not just employees, even managers, HR leaders and even management consultants like me are tired of this yearly chore. The time and effort spent in administering performance reviews often go in vain as there is very little value addition in terms of improving the performance of the employees and in turn, improving the performance of the business. According to CEB Inc., 95% of managers are “unhappy” with traditional performance management, and feel that it could be made better. In addition, 59% of employees think that traditional performance reviews have “no impact” on their personal performance. Instant is the new mantra for everyone! The human psychology has changed a lot as we want everything in the moment. Employees do...
